Ashley is a big sports fanatic supporting Leeds United and Wakefield Trinity. His love for cricket goes beyond being a fan – he is actually a qualified cricket umpire. In his spare time, you’ll likely find him officiating games at Selby Cricket Club. Besides sports, Ashley also enjoys learning about historic events and staying updated on current affairs.
Ashley has been in the employment industry for nearly 40 years working in various HR roles.
With his rich background in Employment and HR, he brings a comprehensive understanding of all things related to workplace management.
His experience spans crafting and managing Contracts of Employment, developing HR Policies and Handbooks, and handling disciplinary issues with sensitivity and fairness, including dismissals when necessary.
He has successfully represented cases in Employment Tribunals and is passionate about Training and Development, helping employees and businesses grow and thrive.
Ashley also has experience using psychometric testing for recruitment purposes, to better understand and support individual talents.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel (FCIPD) and has a Level 7 Diploma in HR.
