Khal is currently training for the Great North Run 2025 in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. He is also actively involved in other community and charity initiatives, including serving as a Director of the Harrogate BID board and a Leeds Diocesan Learning Trust trustee. Khal has also played the lead in several theatre productions at Harrogate Theatre and the Ripon Arts Hub. He is fluent in Bengali and fairly proficient in Hindi and Urdu. He likes to spend his spare time travelling around the world.
Khal joined Hethertons in February 2025, bringing over two decades of experience in residential, commercial, and agricultural property law.
He has worked with leading firms across Yorkshire and beyond and has advised a diverse client base, from private individuals to national developers, government bodies, and secondary lenders.
With expertise spanning residential conveyancing, commercial leases, property finance, and agricultural sales, Khal is particularly skilled in handling development and commercial lending matters, including bridging loans, revolving credit facilities, and option agreements.
He has played a key role in developing property departments, leading teams, and driving business growth throughout his career.
His commercial insight and technical expertise make him a trusted advisor to clients facing intricate property transactions.
