We are delighted to have taken part in not one, but TWO quiz nights recently to support local charities.
Tom Henry, David Hallam, and Jessica Roberts represented Team Hethertons at the Pitcher and Piano for a fantastic quiz hosted by YorWealth Ltd and Ebor Mortgages.
An impressive £2,700 was raised for The Island York: an incredible charity that provides positive mentoring to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
We also enjoyed a brilliant evening at the Lysander Arms in Rawcliffe, where Begbies Traynor Group hosted a charity quiz to raise funds for the incredible Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Team Hethertons were represented by our very own Anthony Corps, Khal Shahjahan, Neal Macdonald and Lucien Wray, coming just two points behind the winners – agonisingly close! However, a double raffle win softened the blow considerably.
All the quizzers enjoyed partaking in a delicious BBQ and plenty of friendly quiz banter.
It was brilliant to see such a great turnout at both events, enjoy some friendly competition, and support such important causes in our community.
