Our team are excited to announce that our trainee solicitor, Neal Macdonald has completed his LPC and training contract and is now a qualified solicitor.
Since joining us as a legal assistant in 2022, Neal has become a valued member of our team and supported a wide range of commercial clients with their property needs.
Throughout this time, Neal has worked effortlessly alongside Nicola Kersey and Phil Robinson within the Residential Property Department, as well as assisting fee earners within our Family Law department.
During his training contract, he has gained experience across several areas of law, including supporting Anthony Corps in the Dispute Resolution Department and Hayley Crossman-Shaw across both the Family and Private Client Departments.
Neal’s dedication to law has been evident through his commitment to pro bono activities and his completion of the Legal Practice Course in 2021 at the University of Law.
After gaining insight into a variety of legal practices, Neal has decided to take the next steps in his career in the Commercial Property Department.
Neal added: “I would like to extend my thanks to those who have helped and supported me during the long road to qualification.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my training and I am looking forward to the next chapter at Hethertons, working in a growing team alongside Tom Henry.”
Neal’s commitment to help others continues outside his legal work, as he helps run a local Scout unit, planning activities and camps for young people, in his spare time.
This fantastic milestone and well-deserved achievement are reflective of Neal’s hard work and we look forward to seeing what he will achieve in the next steps of his career.
