The festive season is nearly upon us, bringing with it a huge range of fantastic activities, markets and events for children, adults and families.
In the heart of the city, the award-winning York Christmas Market is back from 14 November until 22 December – with alpine chalets, local crafts and seasonal treats.
The focus this year is on inclusion and sustainability, with a quiet period for visitors with access needs and support for those with reduced mobility – as well as eco-friendly traders and activities!
Elsewhere, the beautiful York Minster is hosting a range of seasonal activities for its congregation, local families and visitors, including a Christmas carol concert and a performance of the Nutcracker.
