We are excited to announce that Hethertons is once again sponsoring the Poppleton Beer and Music Festival (including two beer barrels) for 2026.
The much-loved community festival is in its 14th year and will take place on Friday 12 June from 4 pm to 11 pm and Saturday 13 June from 12 pm to 11 pm.
The event will also be located on the grounds of the Poppleton Junior Football Club on Millfield Lane, Nether Poppleton, YO26 6LY.
Poppleton’s Beer and Music Festival has become a highlight of the local calendar. It brings together great beer, live music, fantastic food and family entertainment, all while supporting grassroots football in the York community.
The volunteer-led event helps raise funds for the football club, keeps membership costs affordable and provides facilities for players from the under-sixes and open age teams.
It is set to promise another fantastic weekend, with 66 different cask and keg beers, ciders, wine, a Pimm’s & Prosecco tent and Hooting Owl gins available to enjoy.
Visitors can also look forward to wood-fired pizzas, street food, fish and chips and a packed live music line-up, including performances from The Mothers and The 40 Thieves.
