The primary focus of the role is to take on the responsibility of managing your own caseload under the supervision of a Director but with the objective of providing commercial advice and practical legal support to our client base as we continue to grow.
This role is part of a succession plan with great future potential for the right candidate.
Essential Elements of the Role
- To undertake fee earning work, working both independently, with minimal supervision and as a member of the team;
- To maintain existing relations with the firms clients and assist and help develop new relationships with third party referrers;
- Managing existing, cross department and new family clients, with a focus on:
- Relationship breakdowns
- Divorce
- Separation
- Dissolution and financial remedy applications
- Children matters
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements
- Must be willing to work closely with other departments within the firm on joint projects;
- Must be willing to participate in the growth and future development of the department, assisting in the build up of the client base and marketing the Firm’s services;
- Involvement in developing strategic plans for the department;
- To comply with the company policies and performance targets; and
- Meet the highest quality and ethical standards.
