We are delighted to announce some exciting new career milestones within our Hetherton’s team as Grace Beamer and Megan Hallam become newly qualified solicitors.
Grace has successfully completed her LPC and training contract and has now qualified as a Solicitor working in our Civil Litigation Department.
Grace will work closely with Director Anthony Corps, assisting a variety of clients with their property litigation needs.
Grace joined Hethertons as a paralegal in our York office in 2023, before progressing onto her training contract.
She began her training in our Commercial Property Department before moving into our Civil Litigation Department and later our Family Department, before finishing her training contract in our Corporate Department.
Grace said: “I am so grateful to Hethertons for the opportunity to complete my Training Contract and qualify as a Solicitor.
“Their support has been fundamental in my learning and development and I look forward to continuing to work with them in my new role.”
Megan also successfully completed her Solicitor Qualifying Examinations (SQEs) at the end of last year.
Everyone at the firm is incredibly proud of Megan and we look forward to seeing her continue to develop in her role as a Newly Qualified Solicitor working in our Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property Department in Boroughbridge.
Megan will work closely with our Director, David Hallam, assisting a variety of commercial and residential clients with their property needs.
Megan joined Hethertons in 2021, working as a Paralegal in our Boroughbridge office and started studying for the SQEs in 2023.
At the same time, she undertook her qualifying work experience, gaining experience in our Civil Litigation Department, Commercial Property Department, Family Department and Private Client Department, before returning to the Boroughbridge office in February 2025 to continue her property work.
Megan said: “Undertaking the SQEs has been a challenge; however, it was made much easier by the support, patience, and kindness I have received from everyone at Hethertons. They have made a tough journey more bearable, and I would like to thank them all.
“I am looking forward to seeing what this new chapter at Hethertons holds!”
