UK house prices rise at record rate

House prices in the UK have risen at the fastest rate on record over the festive period.

According to the latest research by Rightmove, house prices have increased by 2.3 per cent as confidence increased in the market following the general election in December 2019.

According to the latest industry research, less than one in 10 employees currently use shared parental leave.

The YouGov poll of 1,000 UK employees found that only seven per cent of respondents with children had taken shared parental leave in the past.

The Government has announced the launch of the ‘First Homes’ scheme for first-time buyers.
