Making a Will
It is all too easy to put off making a will, but it is something we should all think about and review on a regular basis. If you make a will, you decide what happens when you die. If you don't make a will, you won't have that choice. It may not be your loved ones that benefit.
Making a will enables you to decide:
- who will be responsible for sorting out your affairs when you die
- who will receive your money and property
- who will act as guardians for your children until they reach the age of 18
- who will act as trustees of any moneys to be set aside for your children until they are old enough to manage their own affairs
- whether to reduce your liability to Inheritance tax
At Hethertons we recognise the importance to you of ensuring that your loved ones are provided for in the future. We pride ourselves on providing professional advice with a personal touch and have extensive experience of providing advice on:
- Making a will or codicil
- Obtaining a Grant of Probate and administering estates
- Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection applications
- Trusts
