Family Law Personnel 
Simon Nellar
Simon Nellar is the Senior Partner of the Firm and the Head of the Family department. He has been qualified as a solicitor for more than
20 years, and for much of that time has specialised in family work. His extensive experience includes separation and divorce proceedings,
and financial proceedings, including claims for maintenance, money, property and pensions. Simon has handled numerous cases involving high
value assets (over £1 million pounds), substantial family businesses/companies, and complicated pension arrangements, including those of
the Police and Armed Forces. He has represented unmarried partners claiming a share of property under trust legislation, and has negotiated
numerous cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements. Simon has a wealth of experience in children cases, including applications relating to
Residence and Contact, emigration, and change of name; he has also represented parents and grandparents in care proceedings. Simon is an
accredited member of the Law Society's Family Panel and a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), an organisation
of family lawyers who are committed to a constructive approach to family law.
Chris Evans
Chris Evans is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Family department. Chris has been qualified as a solicitor for more than 12 years, with wide
experience of family work having previously worked in firms in Yorkshire and Humberside. Chris has represented clients in separation, divorce
and nullity proceedings, and in financial proceedings, including large money cases with tax and liquidity complications. He has substantial
experience in cases involving domestic violence and applications for injunctions, as well as all types of children cases. Chris is an accredited
specialist on the Resolution Family Law Panel, with particular expertise in finance and children law.
Helena Chambers
Helena is a Paralegal in the Family department and has over 15 years experience of family work, including separation and divorce, financial
claims and children disputes. She handles a mixed caseload of private and publicly funded matters.
