Hethertons Solicitors is pleased to announce that Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice will be our Charity of the Year for 2016.
The charity was founded by Professor Jack Scarisbrick over 20 years ago, amid concerns that there weren’t enough specialist facilities for young children who needed palliative or respite care.
The organisation, which has centres in Coventry, Liverpool and Middlesbrough, provides free care to youngsters (aged 0-5) who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
These services have proven a lifeline to families around the country, but every year the costs involved increase. Zoë’s Place must now raise around £1,400,000 annually to provide the support that so many children desperately need.
Over the course of the year, Hethertons will be helping to raise money towards these running costs, as well as doing all we can to increase awareness of the charity’s work.
